“Everything we do at Bridge Street is about community engagement,” declares our President and CEO, Gregory Anderson, in “A Love Letter to Brooklyn.” Echoing this sentiment, he adds, “Brooklyn captures you. There’s always something to do, something to enjoy, and it’s just a feel-good place.”

All of Bridge Street’s programs and activities are designed to promote and advance financial empowerment, social justice, and racial equity. Bridge Street primarily operates six distinct but interrelated Program Areas:
COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT
Building vibrant connections within our community, we unite residents and businesses through events, forums, and initiatives that strengthen our collective voice and spirit!
Fostering economic resilience, we empower individuals and local businesses with the tools, knowledge, and resources needed to thrive financially and contribute to the prosperity of our community.
Empowering youth and adults with education, training, and workforce development opportunities, paving their way for fulfilling careers and enhanced civic engagement.
Driving the creation and revitalization of spaces where families can thrive, we’re dedicated to ensuring accessible, safe, and vibrant living environments for all, promoting community well-being and sustainability.
Enhancing the quality of life for our seniors, we provide comprehensive services, resources, and programs that support independence, health, and community engagement for our elder residents.
Championing the needs and rights of our community, we lead organizing and advocacy efforts that address critical issues, drive policy change, and ensure our collective voice is heard and respected.
