- Bridge Street plays a pivotal role in the Bed-Stuy Works Alliance of Block and Tenant Associations. This coalition of 70 block and resident associations serves as a powerful platform for renters and homeowners to voice their concerns, share ideas, and develop solutions to common challenges. Together, we strive to create a stronger, more connected community.

- Bridge Street provides a broad range of direct case management, referrals, outreach and educational services to assist families and individuals in applying for and obtaining affordable rental housing. Bridge Street partners with NYC Housing Preservation & Development Housing Ambassador Program to help people prepare and apply for Housing Connect affordable housing lotteries. We assist with applications for the Senior Citizen Rent Increase Exemption (SCIRE), Disability Rent Increase Exemption (DRIE), Section 8 Housing Vouchers and more.
- Aid to Immigrants & Asylum Seekers
- Our latest advocacy efforts have involved migrant asylum seekers from Central America, South America, Africa and Asia. Last year Bridge Street assisted 2,000 migrants/asylum seekers through our “one-stop-shop” that provides access to legal and immigration services, language classes, job training and employment, physical and mental health services, and many other public benefits.
