Since its founding in 1995, Bridge Street Development Corporation<\/a> (BSDC) has worked to meet the housing needs of low-to-moderate income families and seniors across Central Brooklyn. BSDC leads this work with a deep-rooted commitment to sustainability, community, and a resident-first approach, both in their approach to the 202 Preservation Project and past development of over 600 units of affordable housing. With the 202 Preservation Project, BSDC will lead a coalition of property owners towards achieving building improvements, energy retrofits, and improved financial stability for their 202 properties, utilizing available tax credits, exemptions, and grants while advocating for and connecting owners to new sources of funding. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bridge Street Development Corporation is building a coalition of key stakeholders to develop strategies, management plans, and new funding sources for 202 property preservation and revitalization, beginning in Brooklyn. The ultimate goal is to develop a model that can be replicable and effective in the city\u2019s four other boroughs and beyond. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
