Our Commitment
Since its founding in 1995, Bridge Street Development Corporation (BSDC) has worked to meet the housing needs of low-to-moderate income families and seniors across Central Brooklyn. BSDC leads this work with a deep-rooted commitment to sustainability, community, and a resident-first approach, both in their approach to the 202 Preservation Project and past development of over 600 units of affordable housing. With the 202 Preservation Project, BSDC will lead a coalition of property owners towards achieving building improvements, energy retrofits, and improved financial stability for their 202 properties, utilizing available tax credits, exemptions, and grants while advocating for and connecting owners to new sources of funding.
