TAMA SUMMERFEST

Every summer, Tompkins Avenue becomes an active, pedestrian-friendly, public space for aikido, bike maintenance, classes, discounts, dance, music, food, arts, games, clothing drive, mural painting, yoga, children's book reading, poetry, fashion shows, prizes & much more.

Check out the best of the Tompkins Avenue Merchants Association at their TAMA Summerfest over two weekends on Saturday July 28th and August 4th from 11:00AM to 4:00PM.  The best of TAMA's shopping, dining, socializing, food and music will be on display on Tompkins Avenue between Hancock and Putnam Ave.

July 28th don't miss out on performances by a live jazz band: The Hot Club of Flatbush Quintet, a poetry jam session featuring Kid Love, a performance by BatalaNYC a 30 woman drum band, and DJ CK1 of Team Club Killaz.

August 4th we'll have an art competition for both kids and adults,roller skating, a bike maintenance class, and a dance competition for kids where you could win dinner for 4 at Peaches HotHouse!
